Questions about it

Does the guest's card leave the table?

No. The handheld has the card reader built in, so the guest taps or inserts at the table and gets the receipt there.

How many handhelds do I need?

Usually one per server section on a busy night. Licenses are month to month, so you can add one for summer and drop it in the fall.

Does it need Wi-Fi?

Yes, it runs on your network. Our Full service, Bar and Handheld kits include a Wi-Fi 7 access point, and we check coverage across the room, patio included, at install.

Will it work at a food truck or a drive-through window?

Yes. It's one device for order, card, tip and receipt, which is exactly what a window needs.

What does a handheld cost each month?

The handheld license is $39 a month per device, month to month, on top of your software tier.

Can bartenders use one too?

Yes. The Bar & Nightlife kit includes a handheld for the floor, so a server can run tabs and take cards away from the well.

Is there a contract?

No. Software is month to month and the hardware is yours. Every price is on the pricing page.
